Description
Eno is an antacid powder that is mixed with water to produce a sparkling antacid drink for the temporary relief of heartburn & indigestion caused by too much food and drink.
Directions for use:
- Adult: Add one ENO antacid packet to ¾ cup (6 oz) of water and drink while effervescing, when symptoms occur.
- A second dose may be taken after 2-3 hours.
ENO Effervescing Powder Sachets contain 5 g per Sachets.
Each Sachets contains:
- Sodium Citrate………………………………..536 mg/g
- Non-medicinal Ingredients: Purified Water.
Caution:
- Do not take more than 2 times a day or exceed the state dose.
- Do not take it within 2 hours of another medicine because the effectiveness of the other medicine may be altered.
- Do not use it if you have any of the following conditions: liver, heart, or kidney problems, high blood pressure, or are allergic to sodium bicarbonate, sodium carbonate, citric acid, or to any of the ingredients in this product.
- Do not use it for more than 2 weeks.
- If symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
- Do not use it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Adverse events include non-serious stomach irritations which could cause gas or bloat.
- in event of an overdose, seek medical advice.
