Alka-Seltzer Acetylsalicylic Acid Effervescent Tablets (24 tablets)

Directions:

• Dissolve in one glass (250mL) of water. Do not take within 2 hours of another medicine, as the effectiveness of the other medicine may be altered. Do not take immediately after food and drink.
• For adults age 18 years or older: Dissolve 2 tablets in water every 4 hours as required, up to a maximum of 8 tablets daily.
• For adults age 60 years and older: Dissolve 2 tablets every 4 hours OR as directed by a doctor. Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours.

Medicinal Ingredients:

• Acetylsalicylic Acid 325 mg
• Sodium Bicarbonate 1916 mg
• Citric Acid 1000 mg

Warnings:

• Do not take it if you are allergic to ASA, salicylates, or other ingredients in this product.
• Do not take if you have an ulcer, a history of ulcers, or are prone to bleeding.
• Do not take if you have active or severe liver or kidney disease or congestive heart failure.
• Do not take if you have a history of asthma caused by salicylates or NSAIDs.
• Do not take it if you are using methotrexate at doses of 15 mg per week or more.
• Do not take it if you are in the last trimester of pregnancy.
• Do not take if you have low calcium, stomach acid, or are on a low salt diet.
